The Edinburgh International Book Festival kicks off tomorrow, and one of the first speakers is a former editor of The Independent and Daily Express newspapers.

Rosie Boycott is appearing tomorrow evening, to tell the story of a year in the life of her smallholding - compassionate. The event is being chaired by fellow journalist and broadcaster, Ruth Wishart.
