Film Fest Countdown - At Two

14/08/2007
The countdown has long begun, towards tomorrow's opening night of the Edinburgh International Film Festival, and allmediascotland.com - in association with national screen agency, Scottish Screen - will be bringing you what it considers to be the top ten Scottish elements of the festival. So, in at number two....

2 - Seachd – The Inaccessible Pinnacle

Public screenings
Thursday August 16, 7.30pm, Cameo 1
Sunday August 19, 3.15pm, Cameo 1

Industry screenings
Tuesday August 14, 9.15am, Cameo 3
Thursday August 16, 10.00am, Cameo 3
Friday August 24, 11.30am, Cineworld 3

Says Scottish Screen: "Our second recommendation sees a change of pace that will suit the whole family and features more of Scotland’s spectacular scenery on the Isle of Skye. A storyteller helps his grandchildren face the tragic loss of their parents by taking them on a magical and epic journey through their own history. Seachd is the first Gaelic feature to secure mainstream distribution and is a very different project for Chris Young of Young Films and the producer of Festival."
