An Edinburgh-based photographer has had a picture of a local housing estate judged among the top 50 in a competition run by a not-for-profit group for ‘professional photographers based in the northern regions of the British Isles’.

Jo Hanley’s entry, ‘Welcome to Niddrie’, has received the accolade from the group, Shot Up North.

Jo's work will be appearing in a SUN exhibition, a dedicated book and on the SUN website.
