One of the biggest providers of outdoor advertising space has taken on the commercial director at stv as its new, business director for Scotland.

Sean Duffy joins CBS Outdoor after three years at stv. Previously, he was at Sky and MGT. He will head up a twelve-strong division that last year was chosen Best Outdoor Sales Team of the Year at an awards ceremony run by Scottish advertising and media magazine, the Drum. It had won the title the previous year also.

Among its clients, CBS Outdoor manages the outdoor advertising for transport groups Stagecoach, First and ScotRail.

Says UK sales director, Maria Clarke: “The appointment of Sean will strengthen our business across Scotland as we promote the power of CBS Outdoor media to capture and captivate consumers on the move for advertisers.

“Our Scottish business grew 33 per cent last year and with Sean’s experience we hope to exceed that in 2008 and become the number one media brand in the UK.”
