Sun Deftly Shoehorns Limerick into Headline
24/04/2008
The Scottish Sun sub-editors displayed all their talents in the tabloid’s coverage yesterday of the Aberdeen father-of-two who conned nearly £80,000 in benefits - by claiming for 34 bogus kids.
Jobless, Irvin Fraser was able to pocket the child tax payouts over nearly three years from two addresses - because he was never asked for birth certificates.
The Scottish Sun splendidly headlined a full-page splash: ‘There was a young man, Who lived on the buroo, He had so many children ...But 34 weren’t true’.

Please don't listen to the humourless morons, of whom there are far too many in Scottish journalism."
