
Uptown Headed for the Toon

An interiors and lifetyle magazine based in Glasgow is expanding its operation, with the launch of a sister title dedicated to the north of England.
Published by Lynne Kennedy, a former editor of Homes and Interiors Scotland, Uptown is also launching its own website.
Now in its fifth year, the magazine has a circulation of 17,000, 5000 of which are available, free, in many of Scotland’s leading hotels. It otherwise retails for £2.95. It is published bi-monthly.
Kennedy’s company is Unique Publications. She is also an interior designer.
Four years ago, Uptown scooped the Best Consumer Design Magazine title at the Periodical Publishers' Association (Scotland) awards.
