Heard on a Train....

10/06/2008
Teething problems at the Glasgow HQ of The Herald, Sunday Herald and Evening Times, as it switches to a new editorial production system?

Well, maybe yes, says one source who reports he found himself within earshot of a senior figure at one of the papers, speaking on his mobile phone, while travelling into the city centre on one of last week’s morning trains.

Claims our source: “Indeed, so loud was the wailing that everyone in the carriage was made aware of his dissatisfaction. He was saying how text just vanished, was gone in a flash, because he pressed the wrong button.”
