
New York Wins for Clyde and Forth

Two Scottish radio stations were last night celebrating victory at an awards ceremony held in the USA.
Clyde 1 Superscoreboard football show and Forth 2’s Darran Adam each scooped gold at the New York Festivals Radio Broadcasting Awards.
Adam was picking up the award for his station’s coverage of last year’s Scottish Parliament elections. It was a winner in the Best Ongoing News Story category.
Superscoreboard, meanwhile, won in the Sports Commentary/Analysis category. It also took bronze in the Best Sports Coverage category.
In addition, ‘Going for Gold’, Radio Clyde’s coverage of Glasgow’s successful bid to host the 2014 Commonwealth Games took silver in the Ongoing News Story category.
‘Made in Scotland’, Clyde 2’s tribute to Scottish Music won bronze in the Music Special category.
