The Scottish Daily Mirror had an interesting piece about the supposedly huge amounts of money sloshing around Aberdeen. Apparently, the AB15 postcode boasts more millionnaires than any postcode outside London.

But what’s this, in a side panel? Fifty seats in the business class area of City Star Airline's daily flights to Houston? The runway at Aberdeen isn't long enough to accommodate long-haul flights, so there are none to Houston. And didn’t City Star cease operating earlier this year?

And maybe there’s soon to be less money sloshing around, following yesterday’s announcement that locally-based Stewart Milne Group, one of the country's biggest construction companies, is shedding 300 jobs.
