One of Scotland’s best-known public relations consultancies has won an award at a competition that attracted more than 1700 entries from over 30 countries.

Weber Shandwick Scotland took the Best Communications Organisation title at the International Business Awards that are part of a family of awards ceremonies known as the ‘Stevies’. Their other ceremonies are The American Business Awards, the Women in Business Awards and the Sales and Customer Service Awards.

Other categories in the International Business Awards include Best Communications Campaign in Europe and Best Communications Executive.

Indeed, Nora Senior, Weber Shandwick Scotland’s managing director was shortlisted in that latter category, which was won by a South Korea-based chief executive.

The awards ceremony takes place in September, in Dublin.
 
UK-wide, Weber Shandwick has four offices in Scotland - in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness - which together boast 55 staff.
