Headline Double Take

It might be the ‘silly season’ for news, or lack of it, but even Spike had to do a ‘double take’ when yesterday perusing the south of Scotland section on the BBC News Scotland web page.

MEP helps to get 20 cows pregnant? That’s what it said.

However, on closer reading, it soon became clear that the SNP's Alyn Smith had been learning how to be an artificial insemination technician, in Dumfries and Galloway.
