A former assistant editor at the Daily Record has been appointed editor of a local newspaper in the south of England. 

Also a former news editor at the Edinburgh Evening News, Simon Bradshaw has been appointed editor of the Henley Standard.

After leaving the Record, towards the end of the ‘90s, Simon was appointed editor of the Brighton Evening Argus. He has most recently been a sub-editor at the London Evening Standard.

He starts his new job next week.
