A Scottish movie that met with rave reviews when it received a cinema release at the start of the year, is now available on DVD.

GAMERZ - produced by Paul Gavin of Glasgow-based Pure Magic Films - tells the story of “a bitter, geeky love triangle which takes place in the Dungeons and Dragons Society of Glasgow University”.

It was directed and written by Robbie Fraser and shot on High Definition, on an initial budget of £300,000. It was co-financed by Scottish Screen and stv.

Its DVD release is being supported by music and film retailers, HMV.
