A radio broadcaster - who is currently at Real Radio Scotland - has been appointed press officer for a Scottish local authority.

Matt Bingham is to take over as the new press officer at Inverclyde Council, beginning on the third of next month.
 
Matt has worked as a television reporter on stv, Sky, and ITN and was a familiar voice on Radio Clyde in the 90s. For the past two years, he has been freelancing as a broadcast journalist and delivering media training courses.

Meanwhile, an account executive at one of Scotland’s best-known PR agencies has just taken up the post of media officer at the Scottish Wildlife Trust.

Nicola McGovern, who was at the BIG Partnership, says she is eager to involve the SWT in more feature-led PR activities and comment pieces.
