Clype - The Column with More Spite than Spike (Pt2)

23/02/2007
Hacks are girding their loins for tomorrow night’s Press Ball - all for charity: the Journalists’ Charity, aka the Press Fund.

The chat this year is bound to be about the usual fodder – who is doing what to whom, and why, oh why, is BBC Radio Scotland sending all those people to Malawi for a seminar, for heaven’s sake?

* * *

There, but for the grace of God. Yesterday’s page one blurb on The Scotsman referred to Kirsty McLuckie’s column on ‘new men and cave men’.

Sadly, it said the column appeared on Page 31. Indeed it did, but which Page 31? There were two.

Oh dear……….

Clype was appalled by the BBC Scotland documentary  on Tuesday, about The Digger - a weekly magazine that seeks to expose gangsters, paedophiles and corrupt local worthies in the north of Glasgow, and is ‘selling like hot cakes’, as a result.

What a dump north Glasgow is. Scotland should be ashamed: 20 year-olds looking 60, feral children and filth everywhere.

That’s Clype off to see if it can sneak its way on to the set of TV crime drama, Rebus - today, shooting on Edinburgh’s Cockburn Street.

Until the next time. Cheers m'dears!
