Compston Helps Out with Cameo Appearance
07/03/2007
A star of hit movies, Red Road and Sweet Sixteen, has just helped out a young Scottish filmmaker by making a cameo appearance in his internet-based film.
Martin Compston has just filmed a scene for episode six of Night is Day, being made by Fraser Coull.
The film, downloadable via www.nightisday.com, has also secured permission to shoot scenes for the episode at The Lighthouse architecture and design centre in Glasgow, plus the University of Glasgow.
Each episode is 10-15 minutes long, with the sixth lasting 25 minutes. Episode one is free to watch, while episodes two-to-six cost £1 each to watch.
Coull, who runs Silly Wee Films, is producing Night and Day along with Kim Ferrie. The series, described as a sci-fi drama, is about “Glasgow’s first superhero”.
