IT’S been a very long while since the last Media Movers feature on allmediascotland – tracking appointments, retirements, etc among Scotland’s busy media community.
WE begin by congratulating Catriona MacPhee, who has been promoted within STV News to the role of assistant producer. She will produce the Tayside ‘news opt’ and be responsible for providing content from Tayside, Angus and Fife to other STV platforms, particularly the digital services.
She takes up the role in March. She was previously an online production journalist.

A COUPLE of appointments to note at Beattie Communications: firstly, DADA’s former head of PR, Laura McIlquham, has been appointed to a senior account director role in Scotland (as announced, here, in a Beattie Communications media release).
Secondly, Jessica McAndrew has been named digital communications director – as announced, here.
