Media Movers: Les Snowdon, Alan Muir, etc

WELCOME to Media Movers – tracking appointments, retirements, etc among Scotland’s busy media community.

AND, firstly, congratulations to Les Snowdon, the editor of the Scotland edition of the The Times.

He is to join sister title, The Sun – its London-based edition – as assistant editor.

It is understood he will be joining in June, around the same time that The Scottish Sun editor, Gordon Smart, joins The Sun (again, London-based edition), as deputy editor.
