WOMEN’S football might not attract much media coverage in Scotland – one honourable exception being the live broadcast of the women’s Scottish Cup final, earlier this year on BBC Radio Scotland.
But it is a big deal in Germany, to the extent that the country’s second-largest TV channel will be in Perth later this month to cover Scotland’s home match against Germany.
ZDF (Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen) is broadcasting the match, live, a week on Saturday.
