THE main commercial radio station serving Fife has had its licence extended to 2015, by the broadcasting regulators, Ofcom.
When Kingdom FM’s current licence was approaching its end, Ofcom invited applications for it, to find that only Kingdom was up for it.
Mewanwhile, the regulators have invited applications to run a FM licence in the Arbroath area. The licence is currently held by Radio North Angus Ltd and is due to expire in November next year.
Declarations of intent are required by the fifth of next month.
