Four Scottish radio stations make UK top ten for highest listener figures

FOUR Scottish radio stations make it into the top ten UK stations when it comes to the highest number of listeners in their area.

Says, Moray Firth Radio, Radio Borders, Northsound One and West Sound all feature in the top ten, behind Manx Radio, from the Isle of Man.

The list was compiled following the latest set of radio listening figures, produced by RAJAR – up to the end of September.

It reads:

1. Manx Radio (54 per cent of people in their area tune in)

2. Channel 103 (53 per cent)

3. Moray Firth Radio (50 per cent)

4. Island FM (48 per cent)

5. Radio Borders (47 per cent)

6. Radio Pembrokeshire (45 per cent)

7. Northsound One (43 per cent)

8. West Sound (43 per cent)

9. BBC Radio Jersey (42 per cent)

10. Heart North Devon (40 per cent)
