Special Award for Marshall to Mark Imminent Retirement

A DJ on the Glasgow radio station, Smooth, has been recognised by his employers, on the eve of his retirement later this month.

At an awards ceremony solely for stations and staff at GMG Radio – owners of, among others, Real Radio Scotland – Dave Marshall was handed a special award for, says the company, “an incredible 35 years in radio”.

Also among the winners was Real Radio Scotland’s Jill Todd, winner of the Salesperson of the Year title.
