ITV1 and BBC Three Take Channel of the Year Titles

ITV1 has been named terrestrial TV channel of the year, while BBC Three took the digital channel of the year plaudits – both at this year's MediaGuardian Edinburgh International Television Festival.

At the ceremony – hosted by comedian, Russell Kane, and including fellow comics, Al Murray, Miranda Hart and Lee Mack – Glasgow-based production company, Matchlight, was among the nominations, in the Producer/Director Debut category, for My Boyfriend the War Hero, by Anne Claire Pilley.
