And Des Clarke and Jennie Clark – who present the breakfast show on Capital FM – had their exam papers marked, to reveal impressive figures.

Says Capital FM, in a statement: “Last year, the duo scored the highest grade possible when they sat their Standard Grade Creative Writing English Exam, live on air. This year, Des scored 84 per cent gaining a 'band 3', with Jennie scoring 66 per cent, gaining a 'grade 4'.”
