Quigley Speaks of Effects of Pregnancy on her Multiple Sclerosis

The BBC journalist, Elizabeth Quigley, has spoken of how the symptoms of her multiple sclerosis almost vanished while she was pregnant.

In yesterday's Herald newspaper, Quigley – wife of Finance Secretary, John Swinney – was speaking ahead of a programme being broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland tomorrow: The Miracle Cure called Pregnancy.

Writes Helen McArdle, Quigley “had been struggling to walk unaided, write or use a computer keyboard until she fell pregnant”.

Quigley gave birth to her son, Matthew, two years ago.
