Stations to devote a day to raise funds for Armed Forces charity

A WHOLE day of programming dedicated to fundraising for the Armed Forces charity, Help for Heroes, is to take place on two Scots radio stations.

The stations – Smooth and Real Radio Scotland – are part of an UK-wide initiative by their owners to highlight “the sacrifice, resilience and dedication of British troops and their families”.

Smooth and Real stations across the UK will be asking listeners – on the 28th of next month – to help them achieve their goal of raising over £1 million for the injured servicemen and women’s charity in their fourth year of support for the cause.

Among various related events across the country, there is to be an army tank race in Scotland.
