Scotsman writer considers a world without BBC Scotland and STV

A TECHNICAL glitch that is denying a journalist on The Scotsman newspaper access to BBC Scotland and STV has had him concluding that not only is he not missing his Scottish content, but that he might even better off without it.

Writing in Friday’s edition of the paper, Tristan Stewart-Robertson, concludes: “The danger of obsessing over internal and local content for media and society is that you easily do so to the exclusion of all other thoughts, opinions and creativity.”
