Scots ‘green’ journalism prize issues entries invite

A SCOTS competition recognising journalism about ‘green’ issues is seeking entries.

Three weeks tomorrow – the 26th – is the deadline for entries to the inaugural Best Journalism prize at the Scottish Green Energy Awards.

Say the organisers: “This award recognises the journalist who has produced the best article or broadcast about renewable energy in Scotland. The award will go to a journalist that demonstrates a high quality of writing, explains complexities in renewables in a balanced way, promotes understanding of renewables in a manner that is accurate and engaging to the reader and demonstrates good practice and high ethical standards.”

The organisers are Scottish Renewables, a membership organisation representing more than 300 companies working in the renewable energy industry in Scotland. Its annual Scottish Green Energy Awards Рon December 6, in Edinburgh Рhas sold out its 1,000 tickets.
