Swanson joins chorus against cameras in court

THE SCOTTISH Sunday Express columnist, Brian Swanson, has added his voice to the chorus against having cameras into criminal courts.

Writing today, he writes: “…I [can] see no circumstances in which [the] interests of justice would be better served by having proceedings televised.”

He was writing in the wake of a Scottish Parliament committee on Tuesday which heard high-profile lawyers, Aamer Anwar and Donald Findlay, outline their objections.
