Lorraine Kelly named No.1 in Courier’s ‘Impact 100′ listing

A LISTING of the 100 most influential people in the area served by the Dundee-based The Courier newspaper has chosen the TV broadcaster, Lorraine Kelly, as its No.1.

The Impact 100 was launched at the beginning of the week, with each edition of the paper since featuring 20 names.

Kelly was revealed as the winner of the inaugural listing in a special 16-page supplement inside The Courier today.

The top ten includes Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth, John Swinney MSP; Stagecoach owner, Sir Brian Souter, and Perth and Kinross Council chief executive, Bernadette Malone.

The top 100 were selected by a panel of seven senior journalists from The Courier, including Neville, features editor, Catriona MacInnes; news editor, Dave Lord; and business editor, Graham Huband.
