Fisher book on US election to help ‘journalism charities’

PROFITS from a book by well-known Scots journalist, Alan Fisher – on the US Presidential campaign – are to be distributed to “a number of charities aimed at improving, expanding and protecting journalism”.

Fisher is a senior correspondent, based in Washington DC, for Al Jazeera English. And his book, Romney’s Run, “follows the Republican challenge to Barack Obama from the early days campaigning in Iowa, through Romney’s success in the nomination process to the Republican National Convention in Tampa, the dramatic Presidential debates and an unforgettable final night in a ballroom in Boston”.
