Global Radio reportedly challenging instruction to offload Scots station

THE radio stations giant, Global Radio, is reportedly challenging an instruction to offload a Scots station, as a pre-requisite for taking over a rival, GMG.

Reports radiotoday.co.uk and The Guardian, is appealing a ruling from the competition authorities that if it wants its acquisition of GMG to go through, it has to sell off seven stations, UK-wide, including one in Scotland: Real Radio Scotland or Capital FM Scotland.
