THE Dumbarton-based commercial radio station, YOUR Radio, has added three new presenters to its roster.
The trio – Dean Park, Yasmin Zemmoura and Heather Suttie – all kick off on Monday, with Park, recently at Radio Clyde, taking on the 9am to 12noon slot.
Says a media release about Park’s appointment: “Dean joins YOUR Radio from Radio Clyde where he doubled the audiences for his weekend morning shows on Clyde 2.”
The trio are joining the existing line-up of presenters, no-one is making way to accommodate them. Instead, show times are being shortened, to usually three hours.
Zemmoura takes over the weekday, lunchtime show from 12noon until 3pm.
Adds the media release: “Yazz has worked on various radio stations throughout Scotland, including Northsound 1 Breakfast in Aberdeen, Forth 1 Drivetime in Edinburgh and most recently at Citybeat in Belfast.”
Meanwhile, Suttie will be doing a weekly show on a Saturday evening, from 6pm and 9pm.
Again adds the release: “Heather has extensive broadcast experience, including stints with Xfm, Beat 106 and Capital FM.”
The release quotes recently-appointed managing director, Tracey McNellan, as saying: “I’ve worked with Dean, Yazz and Heather before and I’m over the moon to have my dream team back together. They are all experienced broadcasters and I am sure our audience will love our new additions to the station.”
YOUR Radio serves the Firth of Clyde to Loch Lomondside, broadcasting on 103 and 106.9 FM with a transmission area including Helensburgh, Dumbarton, Kilcreggan, plus listeners in Greenock and Clydebank.
