“Scottish football, where rudeness and bad manners come as standard, is in a parlous state. Yet, dealing with those at the heart of the game, one is left with the distinct impression that a siege mentality prevails.”

BEGINS Mark Sweney, in The Guardian: “UK national newspaper advertising revenue will return to growth next year, only the second annual increase since 2007, as digital income across the industry surges.

“UK national newspapers are expected to attract £1.42bn in ad spend in 2015, an one per cent year-on-year increase, according to a report by the Advertising Association and Warc.”
