International Journalism in English, MLitt - Scottish Centre for Journalism Studies

A new course delivered by the SCJS designed specifically for international students. The course is vocationally-oriented and combines the best elements of our highly successful Journalism Studies programme with content created for students from overseas.

The course will help you to develop the practical and academic skills which will allow you to work as a journalist in an English-speaking context.

As well as being encouraged to develop an understanding of the ethical issues of journalism, during the year you will use industry-standard software such as QuarkXpress to produce your own newspaper and magazine. You will also have the opportunity to meet and learn from working journalists and industry figures.
