Our television training offers the challenges of television news but in a safe and confidential environment. Learn the do’s and don’t of television, the rules of body language, dress code and facial expressions. Practice different types of interview: friendly, confrontational, 1-1, group, filmed, live, studio, exterior and down-the-line.
Radio:
Media Mentor’s radio training offers an insight into the different types of radio interview: recorded, live, 1-1, debate, phone-in, local and national. We’ll show you how to stay calm when facing awkward question and how to get your key messages across in a subtle, yet effective manner.
Print:
Learn how newspaper newsrooms are structured, and how they operate. Get to know the different types of journalist – their agendas and priorities. Media Mentor will show you how to establish, and maintain, control during interviews so that there are no surprises when you open the newspaper the next day.
Crisis Management
Learn how to handle aggressive questioning by journalists, and to emerge with credit after a challenging situation.
Participants will gain an insight into how to handle the media onslaught – and will practice, in complete confidentiality, the techniques which effectively defuse probing questions.
