New look for The Sunday Post

THERE’S been no official word on circulation figures yet from The Sunday Post HQ in Dundee after it launched a dramatic bid this week to boost its circulation, which, in common with most Scottish national newspapers, has been steadily declining.

The DC Thomson flagship has heavily invested, by adding a staggering 24 new pages, to bring it up to 88 pages a week; introduced a plethora of new columnists; and got into cash prize games in a serious way.

It declared: “Now, In the biggest-ever development in the long, proud history of the paper, we are giving our readers even more.”

The new columnists include Amanda Hamilton, on health and fitness; travel expert, Robin McKelvie; Alisdair Suttie, on motoring; Agnes Stevenson, on gardening; and financial expert, Martin Lewis.
