A SCOTS journalist-turned-ghostwriter is about to celebrate the publication of her latest co-authored book.
‘Love Hurts’ is an autobiography about an Edinburgh man whose childhood was characterised by violence and neglect, and who grew up to become “ruled by addiction, adultery and excess”.
The autobiography’s subject and his ghostwriter, Linda Watson-Brown – a former columnist and feature writer on The Scotsman – will see Love Hurts launched on the 12th of next month.
The book was originally a frantically, handwritten apology by the autobiography’s subject to his wife in response to the breakdown of their marriage.
He continues to live in Edinburgh and is now studying for an MA in English and Scottish Literature at the University of Edinburgh.
Watson-Brown’s has ghostwritten two other books, The Step Child, by Donna Ford, and Unbreakable, by Lindsay Hunter. She has also co-authored three fictional crime novels: Dark Angels, Blood Lines and The Watcher.
