Farmers Guardian editorship for Scot

AN Aberdeenshire journalist has been appointed editor of one of the only two remaining, UK-wide weekly farming papers.

Emma Penny, whose parents are farmers at Mintlaw, joins Farmers Guardian from Contract Journal where she has been editor for several years.

Emma studied agriculture at Aberdeen University before taking up a career in agricultural journalism – first with Crops magazine and then Farmers Weekly, where she became livestock editor and which is the other UK-wide weekly farming title.
