Reporters reach for the skies

WELL-known Scottish journalists such as the Scottish Daily Mail’s Rob Robertson and The Herald’s Tom Bruce-Gardyne feature in an in-flight magazine for an airline specialising in short hops between the Scottish mainland and the Hebrides.

Sports reporter Robertson and wine columnist Bruce-Gardyne can be read in the launch issue of Aurora, which is given free to passengers on Highland Airways, which counts Inverness-Benbecula and Cardiff-Anglesey among its passenger and freight routes.

The next issue is out at the end of June and has been put together by Edinburgh-based magazine producers, CMYK Design. This issue is 56pp and 5,000 copies have been printed.

Emma Robertson – a regular freelancer contributor to the Scottish Daily Express – will regularly contribute on health, while Lindsey Rogerson will be writing about finance. She freelances for, among others, the Financial Times.
