Mag company nicks contract from under noses of rivals

AN Edinburgh magazine production company has won a contract to produce two publications for the Scottish Prison Service.

From an open tender, which is said to have attracted dozens of applicants, CMYK will be putting together a quarterly, eight-page magazine for prisoners, The Gallery, and a twice-yearly 20-page title for staff, Our People.

Working with the SPS, the company will be generating copy, commissioning photographers, designing, printing and distributing the titles.

The Gallery will include a round-up of events at various prisons, new initiatives, awards and projects.

Our People will include staff leisure activities, such as charity fundraising events, achievements and, again, awards.
