Dundee maybe next in Record’s plans?

AS reported in yesterday’s Spike, the Daily Record has finally admitted it intends to launch evening editions in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Now, Spike believes at least one other location might be within publisher, Trinity Mirror’s sights.

Spike understands that Dundee is now being seriously looked at as a third location for the PM edition of the Daily Record – suggesting an ambitious network of regional titles could soon be springing up throughout the country.

Yesterday, Spike speculated the Glasgow and Edinburgh PMs would be launched on the sixth of next month, not least because a source had spotted an advert for vendors.

But the sixth is a Wednesday. So, make it Monday, the fourth, instead.
