Health Advertising Awards Success for Family

An Edinburgh-based advertising, design and digital agency has taken two bronze medals at an awards ceremony celebrating the best in healthcare advertising.

Family received bronze in two categories in the Best of Health Awards, run by the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising.

The top, 'Best of Show', prizes were won by Langland and McCann Healthcare Sydney. Meanwhile, from 374 entries, there were six gold, 26 silver and 63 bronze awards presented.

Family's bronzes were in the Consumer, Individual Press and the Consumer, Out of Home categories, both for its 'Sweet Tooth' campaign for Ogilvie Dentists.

Langland was awarded ‘Best of Show’, in the Advertising to Consumers category, for its www.questival.co.uk interactive website for people with haemophilia. 

McCann Healthcare Sydney was also awarded ‘Best of Show’, in the Advertising to Healthcare Professionals category, for their ‘Rational Explanation’ mixed media campaign to encourage healthcare professionals to screen elderly patients for Alzheimer’s during routine consultations, so that it can be detected in its early stages.
