Camera crew to the rescue

AN oldie, but goodie: Scots, cameraman, Stephen Hughes, and runner, Andrew Wood, were in the capital filming the fireworks from the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, for the BBC.

Positioned on Arthur’s Seat, the pair suddenly had to come to the aid of three locals walking on the hill, one of whom was injured, who had become lost in the thick haar that had descended.

Using their head torches and Stephen’s mobile phone, which has an SOS function allowing him to send out morse code messages, they managed to contact the emergency services and guide them to where to casualty was.
