BBC Scotland is dedicating two programmes, over the next few days, to the Black Watch, including a performance of an acclaimed play about the regiment.
Sunday, on BBC Two Scotland, sees a documentary being broadcast partly about the Black Watch in Iraq, while, the following evening, there’s a screening of the performance of the National Theatre of Scotland’s acclaimed production, Black Watch.
The 60-minute documentary, Black Watch: A Soldier’s Story, not only goes behind the scenes of the National Theatre of Scotland’s production, but also tells the real-life stories of Black Watch soldiers who have served on the ground in Iraq.
