Johnston Press digital strategy director to depart

THE digital strategy director at the publishers of The Scotsman newspaper is stepping down, after two years in the job.

Lori Cunningham is leaving Johnston Press on the 30th of next month. Before joining the Johnston Press management team, she was vice-president of strategy at AOL UK.

An internal memo says: “Since joining the company Lori has been involved in the development of our digital strategy which has evolved from the creation of our own solutions to one of partnership with third parties.

“She was a key part of the team that moved our jobs platform from one developed in-house to a new platform sourced from the Daily Mail group.

“She has recently been focusing on the development of a new website template utilising the purchased Polopoly platform. This will replace our existing websites over the coming months.”

It has not been made public her next career step.
