Website Publisher Launches New Political Party

The publisher of a Glasgow-based website has launched a new political party.

Nathan Goldberg – a former editor of the short-lived, worker-controlled Scottish Daily News newspaper, during the mid-1970s – has launched The Cooperation Party.

Among things, Goldberg is the publisher of www.wowdewow.com, a source of several daily blogs.

He said: “The aim of the Cooperation Movement will be to foster cooperation in politics, the economy and the environment, both locally and internationally to resolve the critical challenges facing the world.

“The current dog-eat-dog circus of dealing with those issues is no longer tenable. We either survive or perish together.”

The launch was held in Glasgow yesterday evening.

The party aims to set up branches first in Scotland and then beyond.
