Storms story most popular during 2011 on BBC Scotland website

THE reporting of severe storms which battered Scotland last month was the most-viewed story on the BBC Scotland website last year.

Reports the website – which picked out its ten most popular stories of 2011 – the December 8 storm resulted in a number of homes suffering an electrical blackout, chaos for commuters and hundreds of schools being closed.
