A FUNDING proposal to help pay for newspaper journalism has been met with widespread opposition.
Most of the online comments are hostile towards a column in The Guardian today, suggesting a £2-a-month levy is placed on people’s broadband bills, the money raised then being distributed to papers on the basis of their online readership.
