Alasdair, who lives in the Scottish Borders, has worked as a sportswriter for almost 30 years. He had a long association with The Sunday Times and was that paper’s golf correspondent for a number of years. These days, his major focus is on rugby and golf, but he has been known to turn his attention to other sports when the mood takes him.
